The Uganda Police Force has identified the need to upgrade its current working and residential accommodation, training facilities and services to support its expansion process and to improve its operational effectiveness.
Through a Public Private Partnership, the UPF are planning to elevate the living, administration and training accommodation to suitable and acceptable standards. The PPP process will maximise the benefits for growing the Ugandan economy by introducing private sector capital, practices and efficiencies while promoting competitive markets and facilitating innovation.
The Privatisation Unit of the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development has appointed a Transaction Advisor (TA) to assist with the structuring of the project. The TA consists of Turner & Townsend (Pty) Ltd, G5 Specialised Finance (Pty) Limited, Deneys Reitz Incorporated, Infrastructure Design Forum and Shonubi Musoke & Co. Advocates.
